A new contemporary art space in Bangkok, Warin Lab Contemporary addresses vital social issues through leading-edge curatorial projects and non-conforming art practices. The space works with artists and curators from around the world to create meaningful dialogues through works that provoke thought and stimulate action.

Visual artist Nakrob Moonmanas’ collage-based practice centres around his research into the visual production of Thai arts and culture in illustration, publications, photographs and collective memories. The artist received solo exhibitions such as “Sacrifice” at People’s Gallery in Bangkok Arts and Cultural Centre in 2017;  and “Photo-Alchemy” at Alliance Française Bangkok in 2021. Recent group exhibitions include “Artificial Nature” at Warin Lab Contemporary and “The Immeasurable and World’s End” at JWD Art Space in 2022. In 2020-2021, Moonmanas was a laureate of Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. He also participated in Bangkok Art Biennale 2022.

Appetite is a multidisciplinary space in Singapore which brings together an R&D kitchen, art gallery and record bar to create a new kind of community across boundaries. Sitting at the crossroads of gastronomy, the visual arts, and music, Appetite’s mandate is to explore intimate appreciations of these creative forms of expression and promote transdisciplinarity with thorough research, food, and meaningful experiences. Every three months the team curates new exhibitions that feature established and emerging artists alike, and have exhibited the works of artists like Pinaree Sanpitak, Ugo Rondinone, Haegue Yang, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Robert Mapplethorpe, Yanyun Chen and more.
