Appetite is pleased to present our first performance activation on Wednesday, 5th July.
Responding to “The Order of Things”, our ongoing exhibition on symbols in art, Josh Tirados and Yuta Yang – both performance artists and fashion designers – will explore the symbolism of shadows, reflections, and the gentle arching shape as metaphors for benevolence, generosity, and grace. Yang and Tirados will construct garments specific to this performance and activate Appetite’s spaces with movement, accompanied by musician Huang Ming Xiang. The evening will conclude with a Q&A session with the artists, and an opportunity to browse Tirados’s debut collection, Anino.
Doors open at 7:15 PM and seating is on a first come first served basis.
